My setup th350 or th400

I am running the motor in the sig below on a 175 shot and just installed a 9 inch with a 3.70 gear. Right now I have a TCI built 700R with manual valve body but im thinking I may want to step up to something with a trans brake. I plan to add heads later on, should I stick with what I have or move up to a th350 or th400?

It depends alot on what you want to do with the car.
Are you going to be driving it alot? cruises, car shows, alot of travel?
If so then I would stay with the 700R4.

If your going to be doing more racing then I would get a built TH400 and never have to worry about busting the tranny ever again.
I have a Rossler TH400 in my 94Z and I love it, but I travel at about 60 MPH on the hiway and there is no way I would make a long trip in the car.
Strictly car cruises close to home and a little late nite action. But thats what I built it for.
I killed 2 60Es and I was looking at spending 2200 to 2800 for a professional build and I picked up the TH400, stall, Dennys DS and a big cooler for around 1800.
Worked out great for me but I don,t mind the limited drivability.

the car used to make a couple 2 hour trips to the beach a year. Now its more of a car I take out a couple times a month to get street passes off, I do have a 40 min drive to the track though.

The 40 minute drive to the track won,t be bad, as long as you can afford the gas. I can actually drive my car anywhere, its just that you won,t want to.

If properly built yes it will.
I have a Rossler TH400 in my car and I highly reccomend you contact him and have him build your TH350.
You won,t be disappointed.
