Question Is my next mod going to be a rear end?

Looking into mods that will get me into the low 400 HP range. Am I going to need a bigger rear end?

If so, whats a good but relatively cheap brand?

You can have 1000 rwhp and be fine on the 10 bolt if your still on street tires and spinning uncontrolably all day

Serously with a M6 you will absolutely need a better rear end if you use sticky tires and launch hard. I have heard of close to stock M6's (lid & catback) breaking the 10 bolt just because they added slicks.

I have heard a lot of good things about the Moser 12 bolt rear end. Unfortunately they are around 2000-2500 dollars. The 10 bolt is one of the biggest GM disappointments IMO next to piston slap.

Good Luck

Agree with your points about the rear. But the whole piston slap thing is a tempest in a teapot.
