My axles "click" during tech inspection

When I went for tech inspection at an autocross event, the guy shook my rear wheels....surprisingly, there was this "clicking" sound when he shook them in and out.

Does this happen to you guys? He said its the axles and its normal for F-bodies to do that. He also said Porches and some other cars do the same thing.

I have heard this is normal as well. I wouldn't be worried about it.

yea, if I understand its the play we have with our C-clips... kinda spooky. You won't notice it if you have your parking brake on..
