my clutch catches fine, but my pedal is real mushy. it has been gurgling, in what sounds like behind the pedal, or in pretty close proximity. the clutch has 3000 miles on it and the fluid is brand new, and the car only has 73000 on it, could it be a master or slave cylinder? im not familiar with hydraulic clutches

 

You may have air in the fluid. You stated that the fluid is brand new; how did you replace the fluid?
