Motor and Tranny Mounts...

Well, my car seemed to have this vibration between 2300-3000rpm in every gear as i am accelerating. you can feel the vibration in the gas pedal, and it seems like the vibration is comming from up front. Are these symptoms of a bad Motor or tranny mounts?

If it is...do u guys think i should just stick with a factory motor mount/Trans mount?

Or could this be driveshaft problems?...it just seems like it's comming from the front

Re: Motor and Tranny Mounts...

you said it happens at those rpms in every gear?

driveshaft would show up at a specific speed, since it has to do with the rotationall speed of the shaft not the speed of the engine.

it could be bad mounts, tranny is easy to swap. engine mounts are a bit harder (least on an LS1). but are well worth it. my engine barely pivots when reved now.

could also be something in the clutch assembly being off balance.
