MOSER Gears

Hello, has anyone ever had Moser Gears? I would like to know how they are, and if they are quiet or loud. Thanks a lot

Re: MOSER Gears

This depends on what your asking. From my last conversation with Moser, I was told they spec out and use MOTIVE GEAR. Motive is a good gear. If your asking about the 12 bolt, if its like mine and 90% of the others out there its gonna be loud as hell. Do not let anybody tell you its the gears. Its due to some as$ backwards thinking on the install. I want go so far as to call it **** poor b/c I have heard of very few breakages, just lots of noise. On their website they say that their pro gears are supposed to be noisy. This is complete b.s Their new scapegoat is that the torque arm transmits vibration because of its rigid mounting. If this was true then a heim jointed, ladder bar or 4link car would require ear muffs to ride in. Sorry about the rant.

Re: MOSER Gears

No, im not looking to get a 12 bolt of 9 bolt. Im sticking with my 10 bolt, just getting Moser 3.73 2 series carrier gears, and want to know if they are quiet or if anyone had any problems with them?
