Moser 9inch...stock ford 9inch center?

OKay ive been wondering this for a while, my buddy will give me a 9inch. it is just a non posi, but i really just want the center section and get a spool or locker.

Can i bolt a stock late 70s? 9inch center section to a moser axle/housing.

I figure i can get the bolt in houseing and axles with c-clips elims for 1100 on summit then take the stock 9inch center.

Will this work?

Jay

I have a ford center section in the moser housing. Most ford centers have the smaller bearings (Mosers are 3.0625 I think) so you are limited to 31 spline axles but otherwise it will bolt in.

I also have a standard ford center section in my Moser housing. Although I wouldnt do it unless you know how to setup gears and that stuff. I have 4.11's in there now, I'll be putting another one with 4.56/4.57 gears in there soon.
