Moser 9" Help!!!(Need Help Bad If Your Familiar)

I installed my Moser 9" and when I got ready to put the brake calipers on,I ran into a problem.Their is like a half inch gap before the calipers will make it to the bracket. The bolts won't even reach the caliper.I'm a little worried about the shims. Are the shims the chrome plates that slide over the axle and are sandwhiched between the housing and the caliper bracket?Thats all I had so I assumed those where them.Guys I need help very bad.I've got to have my car done tommorow night because i've got to be somewhere Friday.I really hope you guys can help.
Thanks,
James

Re: Moser 9" Help!!!(Need Help Bad If Your Familiar)

Old post but I thought i'd update incase someone has this problem in the future. The chrome plates were not the shims and Moser said that I don't even use them they just send the plates with their rear-ends.They also did'nt send me shims which is why I thought the plates were the shims because the item list did'nt say anything about the plates so I assumed they were the shims. My problem with the calipers not fitting was because the press ring would not press on the axle all the way causing the axle to stick out a little to much.Moser said they had never had any defective press rings, mine were.New press rings fixed my problem.
Just posting this incase anybody else runs into this problem.
