Moser 12 Bolt, what will I need?
I am going to be ordering my Moser 12 bolt pretty soon here within a week and I was wondering if I will need any other aftermarket stuff to aid the 12 bolt instalation?
BTW how long should I expect shipping to take once I order this bad boy?
I am going with all the upgrades and everything...

The only major items I can think of are a new driveshaft and a chassis mount torque arm (Spohn, BMR, etc.). Thye DS will need to be ~3/4" shorter, but it's best to install the rear. measure, and then order. If you take it easy you may be able to use the stock DS for driving around until you get the new one. I did.

WTF??? The sites say that the 12 bolts are direct swaps. Are you sure that you will need a new DS?? Not to doubt you rskrause, but I want to make sure because I am getting ready to order a 12 bolt as well from either Tbyrne or Thunder Racing and they both say direct swap with not extras needed. Just trying to make sure I don't screw up before I order. Thanks.
The stock DS will typically be 1/2-3/4 of an inch too long. It's not so long that the car can't be driven, but with a DS that is too long you run the risk of jamming the yoke up agains the tailshaft of the tranny when the rear suspension is compressed. This can cause major damage. I drove mine that way for a couple of weeks while waiting for a DS, but I took it easy.
Every car is a little different. You could re-install your stock shaft and measure how much travel you have at the slip yoke. The minimum is 3/4 inch and more than 1 inch is not necessary. This is measured with the rear suspension supported on safety stands or with the rear end on the ground. If you have 3/4" of an inch you will be good to go. Mine had only ~1/2" so I bought a new shaft.
