Moser 12 Bolt Thread

I'm running a Moser with a Spohn TA and the threads on the top two bolt holes are pretty much shot. Mainly because they have a tendency to back out and then move around.

Anyways, what do I do. I'm thinking either heli coil them or take the rear end to a machine shop and have them fill the holes and tap them again. Anyone deal with this before? I'm going to call Moser in the AM and see what they recommend.

Thanks.

Re: Moser 12 Bolt Thread

I would most like heli-coil them, then wire-lock the bolts to prevent them from backing out at all. You can get the wire-locking kits from summit, jegs, eastwood, or any racing supply store.
