what presser plate did you use with just the disc?

I used the PP from a stock autozone setup.....its pretty much the same thing anyone will sell ya, and it is working great for me (hotcam+bolt ons)

All LT1 (ribbed fingers) and LT4 (smooth fingers) pressure plates are the exact same period.

what he said, no matter who you buy it from, Mcleod, centerforce, spec, GM, autozone, Valeo is the company that makes them. everyone just paints it a different color.

If I am reusing the pressure plate do I have to get it resurfaced?

Can't resurface a preasure plate. Mine has some hotspots but feels smooth, going to throw it on and give it a try (with this disk)

Will know in about 10 days how it works out.

So you can buy just the clutch disc and use the stock pressure plate and have increase holding capability?? Seems odd to me

Naw... my pressure plate is from a Center Force set up. I'm broke right now and can't afford the twin street.
