Question McLeod street twin install ?????

I just ordered my McLeod street twin w/steel flywheel from Thunderracing yesterday. Should be here in a few more days and then it will be time for install. Just checking to see if there is anything that needs to be purchased or done before or during the install?? From most of the searches that I have done it looks like there are 2 issues that most people bring up.

1) The use of a pilot bushing or throwout bearing. Which one is better?

2) That before it is installed you need to take your 'brand new' setup and have it balanced. Not sure why this would need to be done since it comes from McLeod as a unit and should already be matched and balanced.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I have heard of some being unbalanced.. But i would'nt worry abou tthat as like you said it comes assembled and balanced from Mcleod.. As far as the install.. keep track of the lil oring for the master cyl. It get's away fairly easily.. As far as bushing/bearing.. I use the bearing.. Don't wear as easy.. less friction.. Could be preferance though.. There are shim's as the clutch is spaced properly.. DON"T MIX THEM UP>>>.. Otherwise its straightforward. PUt it together EXACTLy as you took it apart and you'll be fine.. there is a Blue/black stripe.. thats how it needs to be lined up as well..
