McLeod Single Disk Problems
I talked to the tech at McLeod today, and he told me how to tell if it's bent. Place the trans. on bench top w/ the main shaft level and hanging off the edge. Slide the clutch disc on the shaft. Then place a straight edge next to the trans but also hanging off the edge almost touching the clutch disc. Spin the main shaft w/ both hands and watch the disc and straight edge for wobble. Not sure if this makes sense, it's kinda hard to expain over the internet.

I've been using just the disk since my motor rebuild in 2000. This disk is awesome, I haven't had any problems with it on street tires. I am very confindent it will handle slicks too. A great clutch IMO, very streetable. IT does have a little chatter here and there.
