HAs anyone else done this before? Bought the stock LT1 clutch kit and replaced just the clutch w/ a mcleod clutch?

Here are some pics of the Mcleod pressure plate. It's the same. Notice it even says Valeo.

As far as throw out bearing and pilot bearings go, can I just use stock replacments and they will work w/ the mccleod single disk?

Yes they will, however if you get the Corvette TOB it will work even better. It is by far more robust.

The Mcleod PP shown above is the exact same part that ALL aftermarket LT1 clutch makers use IE: Spec, Centerforce, SLP, RAM. There is not one thing different other than the pretty red paint. You can even get the exact same PP at Autozone for less that $200 including an OEM organic disk and TOB. They are ALL made by valeo.

All of these smooth finger PP's are the LT4 pressure plate. The ribbed finger plates are the LT1 plates.

P/P are the same. The difference is in the Disk. Mcleod seperates itself from the competion with it's disk design.
