McCleod Street Twin in a stock LT1 car?

My stock clutch is starting to slip after my first time at the dragstrip and i am thinking about replacing it with the street twin setup. i understand that it comes with a new master cylinder, flywheel, clutch disks and pressure plate. is this a bolt in installation that i can do myself or do i need to have anything balanced? my car wont see the dragstrip again with this setup until i get a new 12bolt in a few months. will the street twin be to much for the rest of my driveline as long as i dont hammer it to hard?

I just had the street twin installed on my car with stock drivetrain and it works great. I think it is a good idea to not take it to the strip with sticky tires until you get the 12 bolt. You might want to get a stronger driveshaft also. You should be fine on the street as the tires will break loose before you hurt your rear end.

get the regular kit and you'll be fine.. just be careful on them hard shift's.. it will crap a rear on a 3-4 shift!
