may have messed up

I bought a street fighter converter from summit for my 93 firebird a couple months back, I never put it in. i figured, I had a 700r4 so id buy a converter for it. I was looking at TCI's site today, they list a 27 spline converter for a 700r4, which i bought and a 30 spline one for a 700/4l60. i didnt see that one in summit. regardless, is my 93 700r4 27 or 30 spline? thanks -dave

Re: may have messed up

Yours is most definitely a 30 spline. GM only used the 27 spline for the first few years of production (starting in 1982).

27 spline was from 82 to 85 and 30 spline was 86 and up.
