May have messed something up

I have a 94 auto Z28. I do occasional burnouts and some minor power braking. Well. After work today some of the guys were just playing around and spinning some. So of course I have to join in. =] Well I spun pretty good, but when I left i realized something was wrong with my first gear. it seemed like when I took off then engine would rev up to 2000 rpm's before the car would start moving. Like I was wasn't in gear or something. I stopped and took it out of overdrive and still had the same problem. Also, when I just flat stomp it off the line it has little to no power at all. I'm talking like petal to the floor and it's only cranking like 3 grand and then shifting. Once it shifts it seems to have a better gas response but still no power. Could this be my transmission?!?!?!?! Or could it be my rear end going out?!?!?! Any help would be appreciated =]

Sounds like you set some sort of code have the car scanned and post the findings. 1st gear is not a gear clutch wise its the forward clutch on which obviously works and the low roller clutch sounds like your in limp mode turn off car set a few then start and try again

hopefully it's that simple. I brought it home and parked it. I'll see in the morning if maybe it fixed itself. thanks
