Master cylinder question...somebody help!

Alright so I replaced my clutch about 5,000 kms ago...I reaplced everythin clutch plate, flywheel, slave cylinder, did the drill mod....Oh and its from carolina clutches...But the only thing I didnt replace was the master cylinder...Now its a 98 Ls1 and the problem I am havin is that I believe its drawin air in from somewhere...Its gets hard to put into gear and if I bleed the clutch its fine for a few weeks and it needs bled again..My question is this does it sound like my master cylinder is pooched and if so do I need an adjustable one or is a new one from GM say for like 2000 camaro gonna be fine? Or are you better off with one for a z06 or somethin?
Thanks in adavance Gerard
