Making my 4L60e live?

I have a 94 LT1 that has a freshly rebuilt(around 10k on it)4l60e in it and was wondering what I can add to help it live. I'm sure it was a stock rebuild so my question is what can I add to it to help it live.

My car is pushing over 420hp and 375rwtq and I'll be adding an edge 4k converter to it. So I was thinking of adding the Raybestos 3-4 z-pak, Beast sunshell, upgrading the pump to the 13 vane and putting a High output slide spring in it. Do i need to add a shift kit? Am I on the right track? Any suggestions and help is welcome. I'm just wanting this to last through the summer until I send it off this winter for rebuild.

Thanks!
Travis

Here's what we use in our builds. http://www.geocities.com/cahallperfo...l60ebuild.html Remember, though...A 4L60E is a finicky beast. There's more involved in getting them to live than just throwing a bunch of good parts in one. A simple assembly mistake can ruin a bunch of expensive parts.

Your always on barrowed time with any automatic imo. Sometimes they'll last 10 track passes others will last 100+ with the same parts and tranny.
