M6 Inspection cover?????

Does anyone have a picture of it? Also what purpose does it serve, just a cover to prevent dirt from getting into the clutch? I know on my other car the cover bolts between the bell housing and motor and without the starter is not shimmed right and it won't work right. I want to make an inspection cover for mine, but I just want to make sure I do it right. It is for a '94 Camaro.

Re: M6 Inspection cover?????

I don't have any picture of mine but I had to make one also. Mine just goes around the starter, doesn't even touch it. When I did my A4 to M6 swap the tranny didn't have the cover and was unable to get it from a dealership. I just took a piece of cardboard and made a template of the shape and transfered the holes. I made mine out of 1/8 aluminum and works fine.
