M6 High Speed Transmission Rattle ( I Think)

Alright,
Here is my situation. Yesterday, I bought a 2000, Camaro Z28 w/6 speed transmission and 27000 miles on the clock. I went ahead about bought it because of the price, and I could get any possible problem fixed under warranty.

I test drove the car and the transmission seemed pretty loud to me. So I knew that it would need work. The car has a week of the original warranty left.

Going into first, there is this grinding that only happens when I first shift into first.

in 5th and 6th gear when I'm cruising there is absolutely no noise, but if I attempt to accelerate quickly there is this loud rattle that happens while I accelerate, but when I'm done accelerating the rattle stops. The sound seems to come right from the center console. Metal - to - Metal.

Do you guys possible know what this could be, so that I can tell the service people so they can fix it while it's still under warranty.

Sorry about the long post.
Thanks

First off. t56 six speeds are generally pretty loud. the grinding into first is most likley a bad synchro. The rattle I would guess is a broken tranny mount. Have them check these things. Thats all I can think of. Hope that helps.
