m6 conversion with different interiors

shattered the 4l60E and found a t-56 with the whole setup for cheap from a friend. I put in a 95lt1 into a 97 model car and the m6 is a 94 model. I noticed the interiors are different because the 97's switch to the LS1 style interior but kept the lt1. Will the trans shifter line up with the interior shift plate? thanks guys

Yes. The LT1's were all the same.

No actually the LS1s kept the LT1 interior. The LT1 never had the LS1 interior. LS1s are the unoriginal ones.

Yeah the 97+ interior was a rip off of the Firebird interior and a poor one at that. The Firebird was much nicer.
