i have a heads and camed lt1 car. it has lloyd elliot heads and a joe o cam. i have a built six speed and a 9 inch with 4.11 gears. i am wondering if anyone that might have a setup similiar to mine what gear they are in at the end of the 1/8 and the 1/4 mile. and also about what rpm in the gear they are in. thanks

thats the 1/4 mile i assume. from what i guess i will be in the top of third in the 1/8 mile?

Select F-body M6 w/3.23 gears then change the gear ratio, this pre fills the tranny rations for ya.

Ohh BTW 1/8th you'll be in 4th if you have the power which I think you do, you'll be around 4700 rpm going 87mph, for 1/8th mile I think 3.73's would be the ultimate.

 

I run the top of 3rd in the eight mile, and the top of 4th in the quarter. This is on 26" tall tires. I'm moving to 4:30 gears to see if I can still squeeze through without hitting the rev limiter. It's gonna be close. It'll probably work if I can run 14 pounds in the QTP's
