LT1-specific converter install guides?

How hard is it to install a converter as opposed to headers in an LT1? I've got all the tools I'd need minus a tranny jack. Are there any online guides to it? Thanks much in advance. Brian.

I don,t know of any tranny guides on this.
Its not as bad as headers believe it or not.
I would much rather change a TC than install LTs.
I installed my new tranny with a floor jack and a couple friends help, one guy just pushed the floor jack under the tranny while me another friend lifted it up, it was under the car at the time.
Make sure you put a quart or two of tranny fluid in the converter before you install it and make sure the TC is fully seated into the front pump before trying to bolt the tranny back up.
Other than that its just bolting everything back up. Tranny lines can be a pain so if you can don,t undo them just let the tranny down enough to get the TC in, this may or may not be doable but its worth a try.

over on kyfbodies.org there is a text-based guide for it.

Even gets down to specifically what tools (sockets, wrenches, etc) that are needed.
