LT1 and LS1 transmission

LT1 and LS1 transmission

Whats the difference between the 2? if any... I need a new 4L60E and have a chance to buy a nice built one but its for LT1... ive herd just the only difference is a LS1 has one more hole then the LT1 for bolts and isn't needed

i could be mistaken but its to my understanding that the ls1 motor, uses a seperable bellhousing due to its different bolt pattern

Plus the electronic controls are different depending on what year LT1 it came from...

1) The Bellhousings are Different
2) The input shafts are different
