lt1 383

i have a 383 lt1 stroker with a busted 4l60e lol. I wanna get a 700r4 from monster transmission. Im wondering what i would have to do for the swap. Since the 4l60e is electronicaly controled i dont know if the pcm would freak out with the 700r4, which is not electronicaly controled

The PCM will be looking for the 4L60E interfaces, and will set trouble codes when it can't find them. The codes and tranny functions will need to be "programmed out". What advantages do you feel you will gain with the 700R4?

Computer control is for people who like to set their own parameters.

The manual valve body lets you control when it shifts, not the firmness.
