LS1 Tranny mount on LT1

This is the correct part number correct? # 22174970 for LS1 Trans Mount. Do i need the nut also...? nut # 10406946.

What has to be done to make it fit on my LT1 6spd? ive searched quite a bit but im just trying to get opinions cause i see alot of ppl went with the ES mount, which i really dont want to do....

Thanks guys

Re: LS1 Tranny mount on LT1

I'm not sure of the PNs, but yes get the nut also if you get the mount. The baseplate on the LS1 mount is wider than the LT1 mount. I used the LS1 mount and the only thing i had to do was grind a little off the arm that holds the catalytic converter (the arm that's held onto the trans by 2 bolts, has the square rubber bushing) so it would sit flat on the trans pad. Never had a problem with it and it's a LOT beefier than the stock mount. No vibration either, which is what many people complain about with the ES mount.
