LS1 Tranny Mount Better for the LT1?

I've broken another tranny mount and while I do have a polyeurathane one... I hate the way the car vibrates when I drive it.

I was told that the LS1 tranny mount is stronger than the LT1 and that it may be a direct fit.

Anyone know or try this switch? What have been yuor experiences?

Thanks in advance.

The later LS1 tranny mounts (after 2000 roughly) were 1LE mounts, they are stronger than the LT1 or older LS1 mounts . If you bought a new LS1 mount recently it is the same as the 1LE. I used a 1LE for a while then switched to a poly mount, I didnt notice any signifigant increase in vibration from either.

When my car was stock I tore mine in half after just a week, I put in a LS1 1LE mount and its still works great and I am not stock anymore and best yet NO VIBRATION

you will need a larger nut and washer, if you get it just take it into an advanced auto parts or something and it will cost you like two bucks.
