ls1 and th350 ?

I know on a ls1 automatic trans to a th350 would require computer tuning, but If I remember correctly on a M6 ls1 you can bolt them right up.Now my question is I'm considering later a th350 swap and basically wanted to know if just switching over to a m6 computer would solve the tuning issues.Or get the auto comp flashed with a m6m program.Thoughts?

I'm not sure about the LS1, but on an LT1, the M6 PCM slowly brings down the RPMs to account for shifting, as opposed to dropping quickly as in an A4 PCM. Not sure if that would affect the tranny in any way, just throwing it out there.
