Actualy a guy put an ls1 rear in a pre 97 v6 and it worked fine brakes and all, I think he eventually bumped up to ls1 brake swap in the front once he rounded up some money.

He said it was fine on the street and even under hard braking but I am sure his braking was not ideal for racing, but still streetable.

His car was OBDI, and his ABS worked fine.

With the abs in he rear couldn't you just swap over your current ABS reluctor ring or jsut put a new one in it out of an lt1 car?

I am not 100% sure but I am pretty sure someone did it, or at least they told me they did.

because i thought that the 4 channel system had the sensors at the wheels for the abs where the 3 channel has the sensor on the chunk housing
