Loud Tail Shaft Noise after new susp.
Loud Tail Shaft Noise after new susp.
Okay, just installed Tunnel mounted Ta, LCA,Panhard rod and subframe connectors drag shocks and v6 sprongs. I think the main problem has to do with the Tunnel mounted Ta, i re checked the pinion angle and it read -2. The tranny noise sounds to me like it could be a throw out bearing, but just by adding the susp. why would the tranny make noise? i do not mean a little noise i mean i can hear this over my ex. and it sounds like it is going to come threw my floor board when i drive it.
This is what is happen, when you are not in gear you can hear a banging sound, the sound does not go away if i push the clutch in, when i drive the car the sound gets worse and you have bad vids. What it sounds to like is the tail shaft is spinning inside the drive shaft. I did look at the drive shaft and it looks like the drive shaft is sticking out more then it use to, just by seeing the old mark on the drive shaft. But this should not change since i did not really replace the 10bolt or anything right? I am just lost right now and any idea's would be helpful

Okay i problem is within the Trans, but where? i jack up the car last night and put it in gear and got under the car and the grinding sounds is hard to find where it is coming from you can hear the noise from the front all the way to the back of the trans..
I pull the trans out today and i do not know if the throw out bearing looks mess up, there is a lot of gray metal around the flywheel, but that could just be the clutch pads, I am still lost of where the problem is coming, maybe the input shaft of the trans?
also before i pull the trans i checked the drive shaft and everything was tight, but i could rotate "roll" the drive shaft about 1/2" side by side before you lock up
