Wondering what kind of aftermarket rear swaps you guys have made and how you optioned them. Moser, strange, Currie etc... 30 spline, 33 spline, type of yoke, C-clip elimination, gears. Stuff like that. And also how much did you spend. I'm ready to buy but theres a lot out there and don't know too many people that have made the swap to hit up for info. Thanks.

Ready to bolt in??

RacingLT1, was that ready to bolt in (as far as sway bar mounting, brake mounting etc...)? How much more for an Eaton posi? Are your gears quiet or have a little whine? You have to modify your driveshaft? Thanks for the response.

never priced the eaton posi, wasnt interested in 1.
we did hae to make swaybar mounting brackets, but thats normal with all 9" rears.

this set of gear has a ery slight whine on decel, they were dead quite the first time they went in,then i swapped to 4.11's and it didnt work out so we put the 3.70's back in and picked up a very slight whine on decel. you can only hear it if the exhuast is capped and the radio is off.
