looking for a NEW performance trans

i want one of those manual/automatic heavy duty transmissions that can handle 300-350hp. i like how you can manually shift it or keep it auto by putting it in drive. im sick of all the rebuilt BS. nothin but bad luck on that part. thats why im goin new. any sugestions. im kinda likin the tci streetfighter.

Go for it. But you'll be sorry. TCI still thinks old school tricks work on the 4L60E. WITHOUT a shift kit I chirp 3rd.

Suggestion: Call Frank at CPT, and let him build you one that will last. You also have NO reason to shift an auto, unless you are roadracing, and even then there are a few tricks with the PCM tuning you can do.

Wanna spray on the line and through the shifts? CPT can get you there.

Re: looking for a NEW performance trans

I hear nothing but good things about CPT! I also just saw an ad for Monster Transmission in the new CHP magizine. Not sure about them though, so I would stick with on of the supporting vendors, like CPT.
