looking for a new d/s

i looked around and couldnt find alot on driveshafts. As of now my car has the stock d/s. Are there any good aftermarket d/s that anyone can suggest? also wondered if it would cut some weight. One other thing i wanted to ask about was eng and tranny mounts, i know the engine has 2 mounts, but does the tranny have 1 or 2 and how hard would it be to change all of them out. Figured if not to hard i can do it when i get home, im building up a stockpile of parts while im over here in iraq and get to go home SOON for R&R.

The tranny has one mount on the tail; easy to change. The motor mounts aren't a high failure item; not sure if you need to change them.

From your mods, it looks like you're into drag racing. A lighter aluminum D/S will be a weak link when you get to higher HP levels. I'd stay with your stock steel one for now unless you have vibrations issues with it (common problem). The buy a better steel D/S from a shop like Denny's.
