looking at a converter

How far would I be pushing my luck if I went with around a 3200-3600 stall with a bolt on LT1 with 4.10s and slicks on the factory 10 bolt? And how much would I gain if I ran a consistent 8.54(1/8th) on 28" slicks and I'm goin to 26" with an EWP and the stall?

I know the stock can't take much from a M6 but wouldn't the 10 bolt last a little longer in a stalled auto?

yes, a stalled auto is much easier on the 10 bolt than an M6 dumping from a high rpm

launching at high rpms with an m6 slams the rear while the stall on an auto, which never fully locks at WOT allows for some cushion and it's not being engaged immediatly at the high rpm
