Look whats left of my clutch

Here is the remains of my SLP clutch disk after my first pass of the night on friday. Hit 3rd gear and it failed. Clutch has maybe 5000 miles on it and 4 prior passes.

damn, mine has 25K miles and 10 track passes on it, and it's a daily driver.

I did that to mine too, except I was lucky and it did it like a mile from my house. I had also hit 3rd gear. I coasted from 75mph to 0 ending up barely in my drive way.

First time I've seen a clutch blow that bad and all of the springs stay in place.... COOL.... Goodluck with the repairs...

Holy crap. When mine let go, the center section just spun out. The ring and hub still looked as good as new (need to get some pics). I wonder if i can weld it back together
