Just makin sure

When you say the rear end gear ratio 2.73,3.73, 4.10, etc Am i right in the meaning?

for example 3.73s Does it mean for example the tires spin 3.73 times each time the ds spins once

or does it mean that it takes 3.73 ds revolutions to spin the tires once?

what he said.

The "proper" way of expressing the ratio is 3.73:1 or 4.10:1 (3.73 turns to 1).
