hey guys,

well as some of you know, i blew my 4l60e up a few weeks ago,

so i took it apart and checked it out, heres what i found

after pulling the pump, i found that the first drum to comeo ut was in great shape, the clutches still said 'borg warner' on them,

and were like new...

the drum under that must have gotten so hot that it turned 2 inches of the drum into a goldish color, (burnt)

those needless to say were shot, and from there down all the rest were fries and shot...

the sunshell was perfect, no cracks or sheered teeth,

all the gears were fine. snap rings too,

the converter i have no clue about,

found out the trans ha a shift kit in it and that the band inside the trans was like new.

so fast forward to now, my buddy just wrecked his 94z so he sold me his trans for $150 his car was in absolute perfect, almost showroom shape,

ran and drove great, so i got lucky there,

now ive got the transmission in, got 3 bolts into it and the trans crossmember bolted up to it to hold it till i can finish it,

now while im this far what should i check for?

ive already checked yhe wiring for my connectors and for bent prongs,
all clear there,...

but what else? ill post pics a soon as i can...
