Ok so when im crusing on the high way in 4th, and get on the gas, instead of down shifting, my RPMsd just fly up and the trans slips horribly. Happens once in a while off the line as well. Does it sound liuke its time for a new trans? Not going for a rebuild on my current trans b/c Ive already had 3, and the last one was about 4 years ago by CPT. Car only gets driven maybe 2000 miles a year.

BTW car is a 95 Z28 A4 with a 4L60e and a 2600 stall

 

any input anyone? Lookin at buying a performabuilt, and was wondering with those symptoms if you think the torque converter is shot
