installing shift kit in A4

got a shift kit to install but not sure how much fluid I need. Is the the 5 quarts for a draina and fill or is it the 10.8 for overhaul. Its just the B&M improver kit so I don't have to remove the valve body. Also what kinda fluid are you guys running I was thinking of the B&M trick shift.

Just the drain & fill. A large amount of th fluid will still be in the TC. Always check the level properly when you're done anyway. The drain & fill is just a rough estimate IMO.

I bought 5 qrt;s of Royal purple (6.95 ea.) and will be changing the fluid and pan gasket in 06.Since this will bring back firm quality i won;t be needing the B;M shift improver kit any more!
