Installing Pilot bearing

Im currently in the middle of doing the conversion and i am finding that i can't get this bearing in. Its very very snug. Does anyone have any suggestions about gettting it in correctly. I wasted 3 hours of good working time tonight trying to go to various places for answers. Once i get this bearing in, i can do everything else. Please help, what kind of tool would be useful in doing this kind of install.

grease and the "ball" side of a ball peen hammer. The hammer will fit fairly snug against the body of the bearing and you can just smack it in w/ another hammer.
