Installing lockup converter in 4L60E

I have a 4L60E that had the stock converter in it. I am planning on replacing it. If I had a lockup converter would it fit fine and would there be any changes that need to be made to the car. Is there any thing that I need to be informed about. Thanks for your help.

Lt1 engine stroked to a 383
12 inch torkmaster 2400 stall. (what I have in mind)

Your 4L60E has a lock-up converter in it now.

Yeah a 2400 is to small for a 383. You need something to get you up into the power curve.

Not knowing anything about the car besides that is (going to be?) a 383 I would say nothing smaller than a 3600 stall.
