inspecting my clutch

I bought this car with a bad engine 95z lt1 t56. I have the clutch apart. It was supposably changed once. can someone give me some inspection advice on it. It says valeo on the disc. Is there a minimum thickness measurement for it? Also what is the max feeler gauge I should be able to fit under a straightedge against the flywheel, or should I get it resurfaced anyway? Engine rebuild is going to be all stock +.030 bore. I am spending enough on it I would rather not spend more on a clutch if I don't need to.thanks...
