increased line pressure via PCM... good? or bad?

Question increased line pressure via PCM... good? or bad?

Does increasing the line pressure via PCM harm or help the transmission. Just curious cause I didnt get the "firmer" shifts when i got my PCM programmed, next time i might...

yes, it's good. i don't think your tranny will perform the way you want without that.

maybe someone will jump in here, but my tranny guy told me the increased psi increases volume & efficiency.

i could not spin the tires taking off until they cranked my psi up in my truck.

the shift kit does the shifting, but the line psi was what he said made it spin more off the line. sorry, i did not really follow along what he was saying too good.
