What parts need to be changed when building a power glide to make it strong enough to handle lets say a 1200hp motor? I have decided I want to learn rebuild my glide myself. I hear that they are pretty much the simplest trans to learn to rebuild. I have been told that with a good rebuild manual and a few special tools they can be built fairly easy in the average gear heads garage. Ive seen guys rebuild th350s and th400s before so I think I have some Idea of what I am getting myself into. Any advice or direction towards any certain rebuild manuals or kits would be appreciated.
