Is your carrier an Eaton or an Auburn?

Re: i need a new carrier

you prolly damaged the ring mounting spot when it shattered. i have a 2-series open carrier thats still in good condition but i don't think you'd want that one wheel wonder. and it can work with larger gears you just need a special spacer/adapter.

Re: i need a new carrier

i just wanted to know if a carrier and a LSD are 2 different things.......... the guys at Thunder Racing told me that a LSD is a carrier itself..... so i just have to buy a Eaton/Auburn/Zexel LSD and slap my R&P gears on it and throw it in.....

Re: i need a new carrier

the limited slip just describes the clutches located in the carrier itself. so yes buy a new limites slip carrier, new ring and pinion, and i'd go with some new bearings why your at it. even though your current bearings may be in good shape what can it hurt?
