I was wondering if anyone has done this? I know about the upgrades but im talking about a 31 spline viper tranny from input to tail. From the looks of the tranny the tail shaft looks different and the bell housing. Im wondering if the viper tranny will bolt up to the LT1 bell housing?

I looked into T-56 swaps a while ago, and as memory serves the Viper T-56s mate to a V10 bellhousing which is compatible with the Mopar LA smallblock housing. For this application you'd need an adapter bellhousing. I'd look into Jeep suppliers, they have parts for all sorts of cross-brand swaps.
