I know its been asked a million times, BUT, what is the best convertor?

We are in the process of building the tranny in our 94 Z. The engine is stock for now, the rear is is a factory 273 unit. We are looking for something a little better than the stock components provide. The plans are to do some engine upgrades this summer such as heads, cam, etc.. and to up the rear ratio to 373. What convertor would be best in this application? Also, what "shift kit" or overhaul kit should we go back with? Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Im headed out the door right now to remove the tranny, so post away!

It depends on what your buget is 370-600 u could get a TCI, Midwest or an Slp converter. For 700-up u could get a Yank or a Vigaliante. The way I see is u get what u pay for. If u want more info check out the link http://www.jrlawns.com/converter/my.htm
here u can see what people are saying about there converters

I got a Yank 3400 and have always heard the Yanks and Vigilantes are bar none the best convertors aside from all out race stalls.
