I dont get it

ive replaced my starter on my 01 ss twice now and getting the same result each time. The eye for the mounting bolt keeps breaking off of the starter. I know im installing the thing right. have put them on other vechicals with no problem. I do have a spec flywheel with a spec clutch. car has been drivin bout ten thousand miles after new clutch and flywheel were installed before any problem , I guess my question is could my fly weel be damaging the starter... car sounds normal on each start.. what gives

Re: I dont get it

It sounds like the bolts are loosening over time and when you try to start it, the torque is weakening the mount. Try removing the bolts and cleaning the threads and bolts and then using some blue loctite.
