HYPERTECH PP3..vs..Transmission re-built

Doing extreme rebuilt on 4L60E Trans this week.
Have the Hypertech Power Programmer 3 Downloaded and
need to know if I need to Upload program back to stock settings,
or can just leave it. I think I can just leave it as ECM not involved
that much vs. Hardware.?

95Z28/Red/wBlackTtop:Racetronix fuel system , full frontal chassis
rebuilt by Spohn, Global West Traclink etc. Holley 58mm, 38lb injectors. intake by Lloyd Elliot, full race suspension/BeCool rad,
Flexalite 3300 cfm Black magic Fan, etc/etc/....too much to list

Are you using it now to increase line pressure? Installing a shift kit? Think you're not supposed to do both at the same time.

Yes, am installing Transgo HD 2 "modified" shift kit, and line pressure increase.
However, re: Trans, Hypertech re: Trans...only deals with Trans. shift points, and shift firmness.?

Had a HPP3 years ago and if I remember correctly it increases "shift firmness" by just increasing the line pressure. Believe there was a warning in the booklet not to do both, and the programmer even asked if a shift kit was installed on the car before trying to change it. I'd return shift firmness setting to stock and talk to your trans builder about using both just to be safe. A 25% increase might be OK but not sure...OBDI/OBDII PCM tuning might be different too.
